I have been pretty interested in the Singularity for a while now, which most of you who have read me previously should be aware.

I wouldn't say that I am a true believer, but I also wouldn't put myself in the agnostic or athiest camp on it either. I guess I would say that I firmly believe in the technical plausibility of what is being proposed - now whether or not we, as a people/civilization, will be able to acutally pull it off in any type of sustainable way is a completely different story.
