Man shot by killer robotThis past week, in addition to the cool (and kind of creepy) video of the Big Dog robot, we get news of a man who built a robot for the specific purpose of suicide. More after the jump...

The robot fired multiple .22 rounds into the Australian man's head while they were standing in his driveway. This makes me question a few things, though...

• This kind of implies that he didn't have either the fortitude or the ability to pull the trigger himself. Yet he builds an automaton, gets it into the driveway and activates it....????
• Let's look at the "courage" aspect of this for a second. You spend time and resources assembling a device for the specific purpose of committing suicide and you activate it. Why would this require less "guts" than pulling the trigger yourself?
• If he couldn't shoot himself due to dexterity issues, how in the world was he able to assemble a killer robot?

Without more facts, I really don't buy this.
